Weaknesses: She's narcoleptic. While she can feel the sleep spell coming on, she cannot stop it. The most she can do is try to find somewhere safe to wait for it to pass. This also means she's weak against magic that causes fatigue. Silver causes devastating wounds from the smallest scratch. Even with her advanced healing, she's still mortal, so fatal attacks will kill her. Strong smells like perfume or garbage are overwhelming.

Major Skills
-Strong: Not in the sense that she could lift heavy weights, but her physical attacks can rip limbs off, and she can pounce extreme distances.
-Healing: She can recover from small wounds in minutes. The larger the wound, the longer it takes to heal. Broken bones take days. (Wounds caused by silver take twice as long to heal.)
-Hunting: She's a natural predator, and can track her prey for miles without being detected.

Personality
AnnaBeth is a naturally curious person, and even when she seems to be lazing in her own world, she's paying close attention to what's happening around her. Though she suffers from narcolepsy, her desire to learn is endless, and she's more than willing to spend extra hours hitting the books to make up anything she might miss during a sleep spell. She extremely easy-going and fluid when it comes to meeting new people. Her laid back attitude only travels so far though, and constant pestering will earn a hiss. She's not one to hold grudges though, so it won't take long for her anger to fade.
She'll respond to AnnaBeth, as well as both names separately, but she harbours a deep repulsion for nicknames like 'Ms. Kitty' and 'Gato senorita'. She also hates being whistled for, or catcalled. She loves fish, no matter how it's prepared. Sushi, baked, fried, sticks: She doesn't care, she'll eat it and compliment the chef, even if the chef is the microwave. Despite what people think, adult cats are lactose intolerant, and AnnaBeth is no exception. Dairy leaves her with an upset stomach and restless dreams.

Character Background:
Annabeth Tejada was born to Desiree Church (American, Werecat) and Michael Tejada (Hispanic, Human). She was the runt in a litter of four, and to her mother's disappointment, Anna didn't take to the Werecat gene like her siblings. Instead she was a half-breed, stuck somewhere between Were and human. Generally, Cat-morphs were meant to be culled at birth, but Michael and Desiree loved all their children, and refused to go through with it. Though weaker and slower than her siblings, Anna seemed hale and healthy, and divided her time learning to hunt with her mother, and learning Spanish and academics with her father. As she grew, it became obvious that something was wrong, as she would pass out without warning despite the task at hand. It was dangerous for her to go out, because she might fall asleep somewhere a human could find her. And so she was kept indoors. Her father couldn't help her narcolepsy, but he began teaching her to walk through her dreams to wake faster, and then to look into the dreams of unguarded humans.
She was content, but felt cramped and caged. Taking pity on their youngest daughter, her parents gave her permission to leave their pride, and advised her to enroll in Monster Academy, where she might find a place for herself.

AnnaBeth stretched languidly, her book falling from her lap with a thud. With a sleepy smile, she scooped up the tome and replaced it on her bookshelf. She stood slowly, taking her time to loosen her stiff joints. She had fallen asleep at an awkward angle, with her legs tucked under her, and her hands cradling her book. Waking up had taken some time, but left her with the satisfied feeling of a warm catnap. She scratched her tawny belly and yawned, before rubbing the last of the sleep from her eyes. Now that she was fully awake, and deep rumble started in her stomach, telling her with no question that it was time to eat.
"Hmm, I wonder if I can scrounge something up. Maybe I can find some fish." With the same sleepy grin, she left the room and started down the hall, her tail swishing lazily behind her.
